Strong Charlton XI

Aldershot Town 0 Charlton 8

The "strong Charlton XI" who played at Aldershot Town last night consisted of quite a number of first-team players, including Bryan Hughes, who scored a goal; Jonatan Johansson, who scored a hat trick, and Francis Jeffers, who got four, one of which was a penalty, as Charlton's amazing run of receiving penalties continues; let's hope the supply of penalty kicks doesn't dry up, after last season's drought. Lloyd Sam, Jerome Thomas and Jon Fortune were also in the side, as well as Jason Euell.

In goal for Charlton was the new number 33 shirt, Darren Randolph, whom I mentioned in last night's post, and I've been searching for a photo of him on CAFC to complete the picture, so to speak, but I can't find one. I have discovered that he is an Ireland youth international, though.

So here's a picture of JJ and FJ congratulating each other on one of their goals, if you see what I mean.
