Back to Back

Jonatan Johansson makes it 1-0 against Norwich

Charlton 4 Norwich 0

Two results to celebrate in a row, or back to back as it is called nowadays, and a degree of consistency, moreover, in the gratifyingly surprising form of Jerome Thomas, who was purchased almost as an afterthought with a small amount of the money Charlton got for the sale of young Spotty last year. Who knows? Maybe Jerome will turn out to be the more valuable of the two. It certainly looks as though he is going to keep his place in the team, so that's all right.

Good news from the Valley then, although a sense of perspective needs to be maintained. Norwich are the bottom club in the table; and Spurs last week were in a spot of bother, and Charlton often win there, anyway. However the return to form will boost confidence, and there might be at least a point in it at Old Trafford next weekend.
